WHY
Healthy Churches Matter
Healthy Churches Asia exists because we are convinced that the local church stands at the center of God’s redemptive purposes. God intends to display His glory through local churches and to grow His people to maturity in and through them.
Over the years, HCA has gathered pastors, missionaries, and church leaders from across Asia who share this conviction and who desire to labor together as “fellow workers for the truth” (3 John 8).
Church-Centered Conferences
At the heart of HCA is our annual HCA Conference that bring together pastors and church leaders from across Asia for Bible-centered teaching, practical training, and intentional partnership focused on building healthy local churches.
Regional Gospel Partnership
Churches are not planted in isolation and do not grow in health in isolation. We need each other to thrive. We therefore facilitate regional collaboration among leaders serving in similar cultural contexts, fostering trust, shared learning, and long-term cooperation for gospel work across Asia.

By the Church, For the Church
HCA is not an organization or even a network. We are simply a gathering of like minded friends, with a shared conviction that the local church is the beginning, means and end of world missions. HCA seeks to use our collective voice to promote theological clarity that serves the life of the church—emphasizing sound doctrine, meaningful membership, faithful leadership, and the ordinary means of grace.
HCA is served by a seven member steering committee made up of pastors serving across the region and all funds are receipted by handled by Capitol Hill Baptist Church (Washington, DC) and Bangkok City Baptist Church (Bangkok)
WHO
WE ARE
Healthy Churches Asia began as a simple gathering of pastors and church planters from one global city in the region who convened for the first time in 2015, and has grown into a regional fellowship serving churches across Asia. Each year, the Lord has strengthened gospel partnerships, deepened trust among leaders, and clarified shared convictions about what truly builds healthy churches.
HCA is intentionally church-centered, gospel-focused, and theologically driven. We are not pursuing quick growth or short-term impact, but long-term faithfulness—believing that strong churches are built patiently through God’s Word, loving relationships, and faithful perseverance.
